Conventional chewing gum uses plastic as the chewing base. This is why the chewing and swallowing of "normal" chewing gum is bad for the human body, and by spitting it out, bad for the environment. We want to change that and launch a tasty chewing gum with a natural chewing base made from the chicle tree. We (Urs and Pierre) have been successfully brewing beer together for five years. In 2016 the inevitable next step came: we registered the name Bear’N’Stein (Bear=Urs, Stein=Pierre, so "Urs and Pierre“) in the directory of Swiss breweries, founded our microbrewery in Kreis 5 Zurich and soon began to receive positive reviews (award: Best Newcomer 2017 from the renowned beer sommelier Bov). Then we met Daniele, another passionate homebrewer who knows all about technical details and trends.
Thanks the many positive feedbacks, we decided to open the first brewpub in Kreis 4 Zurich.

Summerfling ist ein Pop Up Projekt, welches im Sommer oder besser gesagt in der Sommerpause des Café Apfelgolds in der Längasse durchgeführt wird. Seit mehreren Jahren backe ich begeistert Kuchen und interessiere mich für die "pflanzenbasierte" Küche. Vorallem sogenannte Desserts - mit Benefits. Also Alles was lecker schmeckt und dem Körper gut tut. Auf meinem Blog vanillacrunnch.com und auch auf Instagram @vanillacrunnch teile ich meine Kreationen mit 133'000 beigeisterten Lesern und Leserinnen. Für mich war es seit immer ein Traum mal ein Café zu führen und diesen Sommer erfülle ich mir diesen. Ich wünsche mir, dem Längasse- Quartier frischen Wind einzuhauchen und den Menschen aus der Gegend einen Ort zum Austausch und Treffen zu bieten. Summerfling, soll wie ein schönes Sommerfest sein, 16 Tage lang, und alle sind eingeladen. Für das ganze Kuchen testen (Zutaten etc) plus die Raummiete braucht es natürlich Kapital und ich freue mich über jeden Zustupf :)

1st stage
Within the first step of the building we get the basics for an hygiene interior like stainless steel work surfaces, non slippery floor and a fireproof backwall behind the smokers.
Also the first coat of paint inside and out belongs to the first stage.
2nd stage
With reaching the second stage we get all the gas components, electric installation like lights, power sockets and fresh and black water installation.
3rd stage
By now we can buy all the power tools we need like refrigerators, two smokers for the LaxBurgers, toaster for our yummy buns and other little gadgets we need.
4th stage
With reaching the final funding stage it will give us the ability to wrap it with nice designs, fonts and signing so everyone who sees it wants to try that delicious smoked salmon from Neuheim!
