Lebensfrohe Halle

Endlich liegt im Projekt der Duft von frisch lackiertem Boden in der Luft! Nach langem Warten durften wir heute zum ersten Mal den neuen Boden betreten. 🙌

Der sandige Betonboden wurde trotz aller Bemühungen nie richtig sauber und wirbelte ständig Staub auf. Jetzt haben wir eine zusätzliche Lackschicht aufgetragen – und was für ein Unterschied! 😍 Wir sind überglücklich und unendlich dankbar, wie treu Gott uns versorgt und Schritt für Schritt vorangehen lässt. 🙏✨

Auch sonst bewegt sich viel: Wir stehen in Kontakt mit einer Industrieküchenfabrik 🍳 und erleben wertvolle Unterstützung durch neue Begegnungen und Beziehungen. Ein Serralheiro (Metallbauer) wird unsere Treppe ins Untergeschoss neu anfertigen 🛠️ – es ist so schön zu sehen, wie sich Türen öffnen!

Zurzeit sind wir auf der Suche nach Missionspartnern, die uns monatlich finanziell unterstützen 💛 Damit möchten wir Fachkräfte wie Psychologen, eine Köchin, Reinigungspersonal und weitere Mitarbeitende anstellen, um den Jugendlichen ein stabiles und liebevolles Umfeld zu bieten.

Die Möbel werden Ende April fertiggestellt 🪑 und danach beginnt die Einrichtung. Mit großer Vorfreude blicken wir auf die Eröffnung im August – nach den großen Ferien im Juli. 🎉

Gestern hatten wir außerdem ein sehr ermutigendes Gespräch mit einer Organisation, mit der wir gerne zusammenarbeiten möchten. Unser Herz schlägt dafür, Jugendlichen, die in der Vergangenheit straffällig geworden sind, eine zweite Chance zu geben. 🤝

In unserem Projekt sollen sie sich auf die Berufswelt vorbereiten können, damit sie mit 18 Jahren nicht ohne Perspektive auf der Straße stehen. Gleichzeitig wünschen wir uns von Herzen, dass sie Jesus kennenlernen und ihr Leben durch die Kraft des Heiligen Geistes nachhaltig positiv verändert wird. 🔥💫

At last, the scent of freshly varnished floors is in the air at the project! 🙌 After a long wait, we were finally allowed to step onto the new floor today.

The sandy concrete floor never became truly clean despite all our efforts and constantly stirred up dust. Now we’ve added an extra coat of varnish – and what a difference it makes! 😍 We are overjoyed and deeply grateful for how faithfully God provides for us and leads us forward step by step. 🙏✨

So many other things are moving forward as well: We are in contact with an industrial kitchen manufacturer 🍳 and are experiencing valuable support through new connections and relationships. A metalworker is rebuilding our staircase to the basement 🛠️ – it’s so beautiful to see doors opening!

At the moment, we are looking for mission partners who would support us financially on a monthly basis 💛 This will enable us to hire professionals such as psychologists, a cook, cleaning staff, and other team members, so we can provide a stable and loving environment for the young people.

The furniture will be completed at the end of April 🪑 and then the furnishing phase will begin. We are filled with excitement as we look ahead to the opening in August – after the long summer holidays in July. 🎉

Yesterday, we also had a very encouraging meeting with an organization we would love to collaborate with. Our heart is to give young people who have made mistakes in the past a second chance. 🤝

Through our project, they will be prepared for working life so that at 18 they won’t end up on the streets without perspective. At the same time, it is our deep desire that they come to know Jesus and experience lasting transformation in their lives through the power of the Holy Spirit. 🔥💫
