Our projects may cover a wide and diverse range, depending on the emerging needs. One of these projects is titled “Ein Artikel Mehr”- “One more item” and aims to support both, the increased flow of immigrants in Switzerland and the severe humanistic problems emerging in Greece. Namely, Rotaractors and Rotarians (members of Rotaract and Rotary) and supporters of our work aim to maintain for a couple of hours a stand in front of the entrance of a supermarket/shopping center and kindly ask the customers to buy one more extra item from a defined list, which will be sent to the Swiss and Greek Food Banks. Rotaractors, all over Switzerland, will gather these items and transport/ship them to the Swiss Food Bank in Carouge (Geneva/Switzerland) and the Greek Food Bank in Athens/Greece.

Since rotaract is composed of young people in a voluntary basis and without financial freedom, we kindly ask for your support in order to cover the expenses of our project, namely:
• The transportation within Switzerland and from Switzerland to Greece,
• The cost of flyers to promote the action and
• The customs applied for goods entering Greece. The total cost is estimated up to 5500 CHF.
