The IACAPAP Challenge Grant is aimed at raising funds that will support programs, initiatives, activities and events organised by IACAPAP. We are particularly dedicated to developing initiatives for providing emotional support for children and their families living in areas affected by disasters and war. It was initiated by Prof Myron Belfer, the Honorary President of IACAPAP, who has pledged to match all donations collected for this grant.

Support Transgender Network Switzerland in fighting for the legal recognition of non binary people. For two years we have been leading a crucial case, which is now before the Federal Supreme Court: A gender marker that was “deleted” in Germany is to be recognized under Swiss law. Accompanying this, we want to increase non binary visibility in the media and awareness among politicians. Help us to cover the costs for lawyers, courts, and our work!

We want to provide a transitory, comprehensive home with all necessary services and support programmes for up to 15 unaccompanied, most vulnerable refugee and migrant children under the age of 15, who need special care and support that can’t be provided in the large collective centres or children who live currently on the streets. These children are mostly orphans or half-orphans which fled alone. With this Crowdfunding we finance the acquisition and renovation of the house in Loznica, Serbia. After a long search, we have found a new location for the women of Soufra Catering in the Burj el Barajneh refugee camp. For the purchase and renovation of the building we now need a total of 85'000 Swiss Francs. In addition to a larger kitchen, there is also space for a cafeteria, which will become the first meeting place for women in the camp. Please help us to offer the refugee women in Beirut the urgently needed perspective.

Hundreds of thousands of buildings in Ukraine have been damaged by the war and millions of windows have been broken by Russian attacks and their shock waves. To help the people affected, we bring high-quality, used windows from Switzerland to Ukraine - 100-200 pieces per transport, depending on the size of the window. There they are installed to protect people from the cold and make their homes winter-proof.

The Mobile Dental Clinic is a humanitarian project, founded by the Swiss Airline Pilot Andreas Herzog and hosted by the Swiss non-profit organisation NOIVA. The clinic is medically operated by the Jordanian Dentist Dr. Gaith al Sarhan. Together with his team, he treats people in need so that they can eat and sleep again without pain. After a successful test phase, we need your help to start our regular operation. Be part of our mission!

Europe's biggest LGBTIQ sporting event will take place next summer from 26 to 29 July 2023 in Bern. However, not all athletes can afford to travel to Switzerland and participate in the event. Some have less financial means, others come from countries which discriminate LGBTIQ people. Our Outreach programm aims to cover travel expenses as well as participation fees for these atheltes. As a non-profit organisation we need your support!

Children of addicted parents are stigmatized for life, socially disadvantaged and often stand alone. From birth, they are responsible for the sick parent or both, keep the family together and raise younger siblings. Despite social help with out-of-home placements, foster families, children's homes, etc., these children experience terrible things. Often violence, physical and verbal abuse and rejection are repeated.

With a global peace concert on the World Peace Day we want to set a musical sign against war, violence and displacement, under which millions of people suffer. The choral work "The Peacemakers" by Karl Jenkins will be heard in 24 hours as a choral relay, moving from country to country around the world. To be able to broadcast the concerts, we need your support!

Haus Wabi Sabi is a visionary model focused on meeting many needs under one roof: community café, spacious play area with childcare as needed, family lounge, yoga, meditation, events and co-working and a small shop. We aim to support mental, physical & emotional wellbeing with a holistic offering and to inspire people to live with more mindfulness. In order to continue to do this, we now need support ourselves after a challenging 3 years.

Motivated by my conviction that everyone deserves a dignified life, my colleagues and I are walking 100 km in less than 24 hours in Switzerland to equip a home for the elderly in Dharamshala, India, with essential household appliances and to support the construction of a Buddhist-Tibetan monastery in Nyukmadung, a small village in Arunachal Pradesh, India. The goal is to improve the quality of life of these people.

Our aim is to give people of caste the opportunity to build a better future. How? By giving away goats, which bring food and income through breeding. Goats not only provide nutritious milk and meat, but also valuable wool and other materials for further processing. Their simple breeding requires minimal resources and thus secures livelihoods in an efficient manner.

The funds are needed to help the 20 families participating in the project Welcome to my village, to migrate from the city, establish and integrate in Colonia Belgrano. Families are trained and receive education in construction work to build their own homes. They will also benefit from construction support and assistance for the communal construction of their homes until they are finished and all the families have moved in and are integrated to the village community. Foreign nationals may be detained in Switzerland for up to 18 months. We represent our often destitute clients before the courts and ensure that they are not unlawfully detained. Most of our clients never get to see a lawyer, even though some of them have been in custody for months. Without legal representation it is not realistic to win or even to make a complaint.
