Xoom: Henriks photo truck
Henrik Nielsen
Fabienne Nielsen
To save time, space, organisational effort and give more flexibility to his customers, Henrik will drive to their office - or wherever they want.
The truck is bought. What is missing is the right box and the interior. The box will be made by a small company in the area of Zurich and the interior by a carpenter in Klosters.
The truck is a project of Henrik Nielsen, a Danish photographer that lives in Switzerland since eight years.

Get out of misery thanks to a carpenter training after Swiss-model.
This is the goal of the project-responsible organization Gira Solidário, which offers each year up to 15 young people from the favelas a chance to overcome poorness. An apprenticeship requires CHF 5'000.- per year and person.
With this crowd-funding project we would like to be able to finance up to two apprenticeships for one year.

The Atlantic forests play a crucial role in the biodiversity and climate of the region and of our planet. The Mbyá’s entire existence revolves around the forest, and the way they treat it is highly sustainable. However, for quite a while now, the indigenous people have been driven out of the forest by large landowners. Your donation will help repurchase the forest, so that it stays in the Mbyá’s safe hands.

House of Rescue
Vanja Crnojević
We want to provide a transitory, comprehensive home with all necessary services and support programmes for up to 15 unaccompanied, most vulnerable refugee and migrant children under the age of 15, who need special care and support that can’t be provided in the large collective centres or children who live currently on the streets. These children are mostly orphans or half-orphans which fled alone.
With this Crowdfunding we finance the acquisition and renovation of the house in Loznica, Serbia.
Every donation is so valuable for us and brings us a step forward to realise this project. Thank you from the bottom of our heart for your support.

With our program “Welcome to my village” we enable underprivileged families from marginalized inner city settlements to migrate and bring progress to a rural village.
The funds are needed to help the 20 families participating in the project Welcome to my village, to migrate from the city, establish and integrate in Colonia Belgrano. Families are trained and receive education in construction work to build their own homes. They will also benefit from construction support and assistance for the communal construction of their homes until they are finished and all the families have moved in and are integrated to the village community.
Your support is essential for the successful completion of our program.
Any amount is welcome. No overhead cost.

a roof over their heads
Moni Bitzi
Kami Tensing Sherpa
… that is what’s missing for many people of Musey since the devastating earthquake this past April. So far, no support has reached this remote region.
A brief description of our project:
Ten families shall receive a new roof over their heads. For this particular purpose, this upcoming spring we will travel to Kathmandu to ensure the sourcing of the essential building materials on site and its transportation to the village of Musey at 2,700 m. above sea level.
It is important to us that...
… the roofs will be locally sourced and produced in Nepal.
… the roofs will be chosen in such a way, that they will endure the given environmental conditions at 2,700 m .a.s.l. for at least the next 50 years.
… the transport by helicopter proceeds safely.
… the local population will execute the reconstruction of the roofs according to their expertise and traditions.
… we will be on site for the duration of the project in order to supervise the project fully and assist the locals.
Interesting background information:
- Musey is located in the Solu Khumbu District which is known for its breathtaking nature and for being a starting point for many tracking tours and expeditions to the Himalaya.
- The Village of Musey is mainly inhabited by the Sherpa people who predominantly live off agriculture and their work as experts in the field of high-altitude mountaineering.
- The Sherpa (♂) and the Sherpini (♀) are a mountain tribe which originate in Tibet.
- The tribe name “Sherpa” is nowadays used as a job description. Today people who work in the Himalayan mountain industry are generally called “Sherpa”.
- In the few years that a Sherpa can work as a carrier and alpine guide, he not only provides for his own family but also often supports his entire village.
