Together Against the Cold
Supporting people in Ukraine amid winter and energy crisis
Project Overview
Russia’s massive attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure have left millions of people exposed to the harsh winter cold. In response, we and our local partners have launched a relief campaign to ease this urgent hardship. Acting quickly, directly, and transparently, we provide sources of warmth and light to support people affected by power and heating outages.
Targeted Russian attacks on the energy infrastructure have caused power outages lasting hours or even days. No electricity means:
*Â No light in homes, stairwells, or emergency shelters
* No way to cook – electric stoves and kettles remain cold
* No heating – many central or electric heating systems fail
*Â Limited water supply due to electrically powered pumps
*Â Frequent internet and mobile network outages
With our relief campaign, we bring heat, light, and basic supplies directly to the people who need it most – helping them survive the extreme cold and not face it alone.
Specifically, we provide:
*Â Sleeping bags and blankets so people can get through freezing nights in homes or emergency shelters
*Â Ready-to-eat meals, gas stoves, and fuel so that warm meals are possible even without functioning kitchens
*Â Power banks, battery-operated lights, and emergency lamps to bring light into dark spaces and keep phones charged
*Â Heating devices, generators, and fuel to ensure heat and electricity in homes, shelters, and community centers
Our work is implemented in close partnership with local organizations. Our partners know the situation on the ground and can ensure that aid goes where it is most urgently needed. Because the situation changes daily, we continually adjust the supplies we provide. This way, your donation becomes tangible help and a sign of solidarity with the people of Ukraine.
100% of all crowdfunding donations go straight to our local partners in Ukraine. Together, we can ensure that families stay warm and children can play in the light. Let’s send a strong message of solidarity and bring hope to the people in Ukraine. Your help is the spark that drives away the darkness.
Thank you for your support! Every contribution counts, because humanity knows no borders.
In 2025, we were able to:

*Â Offer 650 children and young people in Dnipro safe spaces to learn and play, along with psychosocial support
*Â Evacuate 686 people from the Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions
*Â Deliver over 1,000 windows to aid reconstruction efforts across Ukraine
