Project Overview
Europe's biggest LGBTIQ sporting event will take place next summer from 26 to 29 July 2023 in Bern. However, not all athletes can afford to travel to Switzerland and participate in the event. Some have less financial means, others come from countries which discriminate LGBTIQ people. Our Outreach programm aims to cover travel expenses as well as participation fees for these atheltes. As a non-profit organisation we need your support!

Dear Boosters
You are amazing! At the beginning, we barely believed that we would reach the final goal of CHF 30,000. Now it has actually come true and we were able to raise incredible CHF 30'735 for athletes who are less fortunate.
We would like to thank you very much for all the donations, whether small or large!
Now that the crowdfunding has ended, we can start sending out the goodies. Please understand if we need some more time to do this. If the goodie - e.g. the EuroGames T-shirt - is not yet available, we will inform you via email as soon as possible.
If you would like to support us further, you have two more options:
1. volunteers: During the EuroGames and BernPride 2023 we are still looking for many volunteers. If you want to support us, please register under the following link: eurogames2023.ch
2. hosted housing: As mentioned in the description, we will also offer free accommodation to the athletes of the outreach programme. If you have a room with a bed where you could host athletes during the EuroGames 2023 and you live in the greater Bern area, please send us an email to outreach@eurogames2023.ch.

Can we reach the last 17% in 10 days?
Dear Boosters
We hope you had a good start into the new year! The year has started well for us, as we now have reached over 80% of our crowdfunding goal. And that's all thanks to your smaller and bigger contributions. Thank you very much again for that!
But we are also noticing the classic January slump. Since a few days, the donations have decreased strongly. There is not much missing - about 17% or CHF 5'000.00. But we only have 10 days left.
Therefore: If you want to continue supporting us, talk to your loved ones about the crowdfunding and motivate them to donate. Together we can make the final sprint!

We have reached our first stage goal!

After only 11 days, we have already reached our first milestone and raised CHF 10,000 for athletes who are less privileged.
We only managed this with your help. Thank you very much for that!
However, 1/3 also means that we are still 2/3 of the total amount missing. This is the only way we can satisfy all the requests from queer athletes who would like to participate in the inclusive EuroGames 2023 but cannot do so for financial reasons.
We therefore have a request: Please talk about our project with your friends or share our stories on the social media pages of the EuroGames and BernPride. Together we can bring the next two thirds together!
