In 2019, I was in Beira, Mozambique, when Cyclone Idai hit.
• No electricity.
• No communication.
• Food was rotting everywhere.
People didn’t lose food because they didn’t have it.
They lost it because they couldn’t preserve it.
I lived that reality.
