In Africa’s informal markets, over 590 million people live without reliable grid access. This forces street vendors, fishermen, and families to rely on expensive, unsustainable ice, leading to food losses of up to 40%. MAXCOOL is here to break this cycle of waste and dependency.

​Our solution is the Solar Coolman: a portable, starting at 30L autonomous cooling unit that generates its own cold internally using a high-efficiency DC compressor. It is 100% off-grid, powered by built-in flexible solar panels and a rechargeable battery that ensures up to 15 hours of continuous operation without sunlight.
