After four years of intensive music production, the post-production and pressing of my most significant solo album are now approaching. The final touches are set to take place at the legendary Abbey Road Studios – marking a kind of journey to a place of longing for me, both as a passionate music fan and as a sound engineer. In addition to many fantastic goodies, a half-day in the mastering session in London will be raffled among all supporters.

In Liebefeld (Bern), I operate my workspace where music is composed, recorded, produced, mixed, and mastered. Various musicians come and go thanks to the projects of Prefermusic. After numerous independent small productions, I am taking my own album to the highest level of music production for the finishing touches – and releasing it completely independently!

The legendary recording rooms are not publicly accessible. In 2010, I traveled there and walked across the world's most famous zebra crossing! However, there was no way to enter the studios. To this day, there are no tours, no museum, or studio shop. The Abbey Road Studios serve as a workplace every day, where music is recorded, mixed, and mastered for the whole world.
Fourteen years after my initial visit to Abbey Road and ten years after founding my label, producing around 30 records, I am set to conclude the production of my latest and most significant solo album over four half-days at the Abbey Road Studios.
Through this crowdfunding campaign, three patrons can secure exclusive access to the studios. Each of them can spend half a day with me in a mastering session.
The fourth half-day will be raffled among all patrons, regardless of the contribution amount!
The drawing will take place through a live stream after the crowdfunding concludes – more information to follow!

On the concert tour 'Magic, Vertigo, Dream.', the music from the album forms the foundation and inspiration for the show. A diverse group of musicians, performers, as well as photo and video artists, collaborates with me to create a predominantly improvised, immersive experience.
The multimedia production combines a concert, performance art, as well as photo and video projection, presenting a post-apocalyptic backdrop. This is framed by a positive color scheme and arises from the depiction of a contrasting intermediate world where natural harmony and technocratization blend together.

«Magic, Vertigo, Dream.» is a metaphor and contemplation of humanity, which, even after the onset of technological singularity, continues to preserve its human identity.

The mood of the music expresses a emotional state that describes a vague and fictional condition: a deep connection with nature harmoniously coexists with technological evolution.
The music originated from a contingency during the Covid era, as planned recording sessions could not take place. I then recorded each instrument track by track myself... creating the new sonic world of «Magic, Vertigo, Dream.»

Alongside my work as a sound engineer, I dedicate myself to experimental compositional approaches and music with an experimental cinematic character. Influences can be found in free jazz, hip-hop, krautrock, techno, and much more. I have been running the music label Prefermusic for a decade. With the label, my team and I pursue the vision of making unknown and autonomously created music tangible. We steer away from genres, focusing more on related artistic creation.
First and foremost, I am a huge music enthusiast and audio enthusiast who delights in being surprised by sounds.
