Project Overview
After four years of intensive music production, the post-production and pressing of my most significant solo album are now approaching. The final touches are set to take place at the legendary Abbey Road Studios – marking a kind of journey to a place of longing for me, both as a passionate music fan and as a sound engineer. In addition to many fantastic goodies, a half-day in the mastering session in London will be raffled among all supporters.

The halfway point has been reached!
Dear supporters,
With great joy, I am pleased to announce that we have already achieved 50% of our goal! While I have no prior experience with crowdfunding, I have a strong feeling that we are on the right track!
For the past few days, I have listed two items under "Sourcing" in the project. I am searching for an instrument for recording purposes, as well as accommodation in London for the duration of my mastering session at Abbey Road Studios in the autumn.
The MELLOTRON is a unique musical instrument that is perhaps best known for its prominent appearance in the intro of "Strawberry Fields Forever" by The Beatles. The MELLOTRON is a keyboard instrument that does not strike strings but rather plays tape loops (at the appropriate pitch through playback speed). I would love to replace the (thus far) digitally simulated instrument (in two of my pieces) with a recording of a real Mellotron. The problem: Due to its incredibly delicate construction, a fully functional instrument has become exceedingly rare. According to all assumptions, there are likely only very few well-sounding instruments left. In this regard: If you have any ideas, or know someone who might...
