beeflat: now or never

For almost a quarter of a century, bee-flat has stood for concert culture. From big names to the most "out there"-experiments, we present music with fire, always with Zeitgeist, always international and always in the centre of Bern.

After almost 25 years at different venues like the Reitschule, Dampfzentrale and PROGR, we are feeling the effects of structural upheaval, dwindling income and rising costs.

Whichever way we look at it, we closed 2024 with a deficit for the second year in a row - this time of CHF 91,000.

Unfortunately, this deficit is expected, explainable and structural.

It also directly threatens our existence. So we have to rethink - and that we have done, as we have done before and again and again. With a streamlined management team, adapted booking and a huge catalogue of measures, we are heading into the future, because we think:

bee-flat, now more than ever!

And we need you for that. Because, as always, we don't do our thing alone, but only with music fans - our audience, our community, our friends and fellow campaigners.

With this crowdfunding campaign, we want to cover the deficit with your help to make bee-flat financially viable again.

Of course, you are not responsible for getting us back up and running structurally - that's up to us. But with your help, we can stand on solid financial ground and start the next season well prepared.
