The 20 minute short follows young and inexperienced Joey who meets a depressed and grieving Nick. The two slowly change each other's lives. The big shock comes when they find out that their families also share a connection.

Dear "What the Heart Needs" supporters,
we are back!
In the last few weeks we have not only been busy with vacation and enjoying the sun, but have also spent a lot of time with our project: Visiting locations, planning shooting and rehearsal days, looking for further funding, giving interviews and much more.
In an interview with Carina and Marie - the two are real power women - as part of their podcast "Popcorn and Prosecco", Laura was able to talk about the inspiration for the film and give many more insights into the production process.
We also had a super informative conversation with a qualified and friendly employee from the DSO (German Foundation for Organ Transplantation). Feel free to visit their website.
