Project Overview
After the release of the debut album “Tiger’s Den”, the Jan Dintheer Large Ensemble is planning the album release concert on May 21, 2026, at PROGR Bern. Concerts with a 20-piece band involve significant costs. For this special event, I would like to ensure that the musicians at least receive travel expenses and a minimum fee. The largest part of the funding will go directly towards the musicians’ fees. Unfortunately, it is not possible to pay the usual industry rates, but I would still like to guarantee a minimum fee of CHF 100 per person. This means that CHF 2,000 will go directly to the following members of the ensemble:

Although around half of the ensemble is based in Bern, significant travel expenses still arise, which I would like to cover. In addition to the members living in Switzerland, two musicians are currently based abroad. I would like to finance their travel to Switzerland so that they can take part in the concert. The total travel expenses for all ensemble members amount to around CHF 750.
To make people aware of the event, we will promote it through posters, flyers and online advertising. This will cost around CHF 250.-.
In the afternoon, the ensemble will rehearse for the concert in the evening. In addition to snacks, we will have dinner together and order pizza. Around CHF 200 is budgeted for food.
The remaining amount will cover unexpected costs and the 9% commission fee charged by Crowdify.
