Project Overview
Our short film "Ozan" follows Sam, a European photography student who wants to fulfil a promise as well as realise her final project in the Kurdish mountains. But when she meets Ozan, her journey takes an unexpected turn. Together they realize how feelings and memories connect people across cultural boundaries. Help us tell this story and promote intercultural understanding!

“Ozan” Update
Dear friends and supporters,
We’ve successfully completed the second shooting block of Ozan!
The days were intense and the weather truly tested us, with cold winds and rain. But the energy and dedication of our team kept us going. Everyone gave their best, and we’re so proud of what we were able to capture.
Unfortunately, one important scene had to be postponed. That means Ozan will have one more shooting block next year to complete the film.
Now, our focus shifts back to fundraising and planning. Every bit of support helps us get one step closer to finishing the project and we’re deeply grateful for everyone who’s been part of this journey so far.

Second Filming Block Next Week – Wish Us Luck!
Dear supporters,
We’re excited to share that Ozan is moving into its second filming phase and it’s happening next week!
Once again, we’ll be shooting under the open sky and taking the weather as it comes. That’s part of our adventure and our challenge.
The first block already showed us how much passion and teamwork this project carries. Now we can’t wait to film the final scenes and bring the story even further to life.

We recently had our first table read and rehearsals with the cast, and it was an exciting experience to finally hear the script come out loud.
We’ve made the decision to split filming into two parts:
The first shoot will take place in late June 2025,
and the second part will follow later in the year.
This gives us the space and time to make the film the best it can be — and your support is what’s making all of it happen.
