🎵 One-day miniature festival for cross-genre, contemporary and regional music in Kufstein and Bern 🙌 👉 On 24.05.2025 in the Kulturquartier Kufstein and on 18.10.2025 in the Great Hall of the Reitschule Bern, a wide variety of acts from different genres will be presented from the early afternoon until late in the evening. 💃🕺

In May and October 2025, the first edition of the Fleckl Festival will take place in Kufstein (AT) and Bern (CH). A one-day miniature festival for cross-genre, contemporary and regional music. 🎻🎷

Florian Reider and Christian Spitzenstaetter are musicians/composers who have spent their entire lives together and are now bringing this festival to life after numerous musical adventures together.

The two were born about 30 minutes apart at the hospital in Wörgl in May 1994. Their mothers were assisted by the same midwife: Brigitte Fleckl-Wieser 🎈

It's easy to guess that both our duo and this new festival were named after our common midwife.

The festival will take place for the first time in 2025 and will open on a grand scale. Many people are involved in the birth of this project: they all make this project possible through their work - whether artistic, creative or administrative, whether on stage or in the background. “Our” artists come to the festival from Austria, Germany, Italy and Switzerland, which means travel, food and accommodation costs. In addition, we expect various material costs in the form of room, instrument and equipment rental as well as costs for catering, printing, graphics, etc.

We are firmly convinced that this festival can be a permanent and enriching part of the Tyrolean and Bernese cultural scene in the future.

The name of the Fleckl Duo (Christian Spitzenstaetter, Florian Reider) and the Fleckl Festival is derived from the surname of the midwife Brigitte Fleckl-Wieser, who contributed her support at the births of the two artists in Wörgl on 25.05.1994 at intervals of 30 minutes 👶

My name is Christian, I am a clarinetist, composer, conductor and performer. The Fleckl Festival is an opportunity for me to bring together the wide range of my musical environment in one place to organize a festival of boundlessness together with all these wonderful people and artists!

I have always tried to shape my musical life without hard genre boundaries. The Fleckl Festival fulfills Christian's and my wish to transfer this way of life to a festival. The motivation of bringing together artists from the most diverse backgrounds is the top priority and our innermost concern at this event!
