Franciscans International advocates at the United Nations for human dignity, environmental justice, and equality for those living on the margins. We work to amplify the voices of people facing discrimination, extreme poverty, and environmental harm — translating their testimonies into policy.
To do this work well, our team needs reliable tools. Right now, our computers are aging, slow, and often struggle to support the software and virtual meetings necessary to document human rights abuses and prepare submissions to UN bodies. The meeting room where we host partners, trainings and internal strategy sessions lacks a proper projector screen, making it difficult to share visuals clearly during presentations or remote sessions.
We would like to purchase computers to replace outdated ones – faster, more secure, able to handle virtual work and data safely.
A high-quality projection screen with installation in our meeting room – enabling clear, professional presentations with partners, in trainings, and when sharing evidence or data.
With your help we will be better equipped to respond quickly when grassroots partners send us urgent testimonies or when international forums require submissions.
We can bridge this technology gap. Your contribution will support human rights defenders who rely on us, ensure that urgent issues are not delayed by technical problems, and strengthen our capacity to fight injustice with everything at our disposal.
We would also welcome in-kind donations. If you or your organization can donate well-functioning computer equipment that is no longer needed, it would greatly support our work.
Thank you for considering and for standing with us in advancing human dignity and justice.
