Sixteen years ago, I discovered that many skincare products were filled with hormone-disrupting or toxic ingredients, so I began experimenting with making my own. My passion for natural, plant-based skincare and herbalism grew stronger over time, and eventually, once both my children were in school, I enrolled in a program to become a certified organic skincare formulator and studied for 4 years.

Over the following three years, I immersed myself in research and development. I traveled across Switzerland and Europe to meet suppliers, attended trade fairs with my mentor in search of ingredients that no one in the natural beauty space was using yet, and tested every botanical, peptide, extract, and oil on my own skin before trusting it in a formula. During this time, I built my brand ethos, trademarked my brand, and established my GmbH.

I had the privilege of receiving personal guidance from one of the leading scientists in prebiotic skincare. His insight helped me refine my brand positioning and clarify exactly which formats and ingredients would best support the skin microbiome, safely and effectively and with scientific grounding.

Soon after, I was fortunate to find a Swiss contract manufacturer whose values aligned perfectly with mine. Together, we developed four beautiful, high performance formulas enriched with far more active ingredients and high quality botanicals than the average natural skincare product, yet without the questionable synthetic functional ingredients that many luxury brands still rely on.

The result is a collection with luxurious textures and scents, vibrant natural colors, and truly transformative skin benefits. I am incredibly proud of what we created, and when friends tell me it looks like I am aging backwards, I know we achieved something special!

Wanting results that extended beyond my own skin, I completed an 8-week in-house study with more than 80 women to validate the market, understand our ideal customer, and see how our products performed on all types of skin. Our testers included women struggling with acne, those with sensitive, mature, dry, or oily skin, and women from diverse ethnic backgrounds and regions of the world. Their reviews and their before-and-after photos were overwhelmingly positive. Many were so thrilled with their results that they couldn’t wait for launch day and asked to purchase more immediately, prompting us to produce small pre-launch batches just for them.

On my website you’ll see the polished products and glowing before-and-after photos—the final result of years of work. But on my Instagram reels, I show the real journey behind these formulas: the dozens of failed prototypes, moments of doubt followed by breakthroughs, frustrating delays with suppliers, the panic when my graphic designer had to give birth in an emergency right before our final packaging edits, the sheer terror when I thought I had lost my website domain, and the constant hustle of turning a dream into something you can hold in your hands.

Now, Noelani Skincare is finally ready to launch in Switzerland and Europe. We have secured enough funding to release our first two products on 1. February 2026: the Powder-to-Foam Cleanser and the Vitamin C Oil Serum; and we need your support to bring the final two products to life: the Mist Elixir and the Bakuchiol & Noni Moisturizer, which we hope to launch in March 2026.

Noelani Skincare wasn’t born overnight. It was built slowly and intentionally, with passion, precision, and a deep desire to create skincare that reconnects people with nature and helps them feel beautiful and confident in their own skin.
