Do you also find that time flies?
That was definitely my feeling yesterday, 21 January, as I celebrated the 15th anniversary with my boyfriend (four months after «jumping» into this adventure).
I recently met Mirjam (who shares beautiful pictures of nature on her Instagram account @mirjschweizer – including dandelions!). When she asked with interest how my project was progressing, I realized that I have been lacking in updates over the last few weeks. I would like to apologize for that – and make up for it now!
When I look back on the past few weeks, one word comes to mind that summarizes everything perfectly: hibernation! Or in other words: when nothing is happening on the surface, but a lot on the inside.
Following my jump into the unknown at the end of September 2024, after years of dreaming about my project, one thing I realized was that I attach great importance to surrounding myself with experts.
The search for professional, financial and accounting expertise is therefore continuing, but will probably take longer than originally thought.
The meeting with Ada (www.glutenfree-gustoitaliano.ch) was very convivial, the one with Markus (www.jackies.ch) super interesting, and the regular exchange with Angela (the managing director of www.guideceliac.ch) is always exciting, informative and supportive. I am really looking forward to a possible collaboration!
The cool socks have arrived, and many have already been distributed. However, some are still with me because I would like to deliver them personally and need to arrange a suitable date for this. For the other goodies that say «redemption/collection after the opening», I kindly ask for more patience. Of course, I very much hope that one day in the near future I will be able to open my café «treffpunkt merci» and distribute all the remaining goodies.
I happily imagine dandelion roots growing presently so that we can enjoy their yellow glow in spring – and I sincerely hope that something similar will happen with my favourite project!
Gratefully yours,
Virginie
