• Purchase of a wood-fired oven (German brand Habo, model 10), imported into Switzerland by a company based in Büren
• Delivery and installation of the oven, including helicopter transport to the rooftop garden
• Communication and outreach expenses (printing of postcards and stickers, management of supporter rewards)

The project aims to create a community oven for the people of Origlio (and beyond), a place where everyone can bake bread, focaccia, pizza, cakes, as well as meat and other dishes.
The idea is to foster a sense of community around bread and fermentation, creating opportunities for sharing, connection, and conviviality.
We also seek to raise awareness about the importance of bread as a staple, high-quality food, and to reclaim it as a shared resource that supports both health and social life.

I founded Tavola Calma over 10 years ago and since then I've been promoting fermentation and breadmaking through cooking classes and social outreach.
The Forno Comune Origlio project will complement my offerings by creating free opportunities for exchange and interaction on these topics.
I want to create a community that is attentive to food choices, where raw materials and research play a central role in developing a deeper awareness and radically changing the modern food system. I want to teach people that returning to homemade bread and fermented foods can change our health and our way of consuming.
