Project Overview
With winter approaching and more attacks on power infrastructure in Ukraine, we decided to help our fellow Anglican chaplaincy of Christ Church Kyiv by buying wind-up chargers. These will allow people to charge their mobile phones and other USB devices, as well as provide light and radio broadcasts. We are aiming to buy ten of these charging devices which the chaplaincy of Christ Church Kyiv can share within the church community as appropriate.

We are raising money to supply our fellow Anglican chaplaincy of Christ Church Kyiv with wind-up USB chargers, radios and torches. This will help them during the winter, especially as attacks to power infrastructure increase. Our aim is to buy 10 wind-up charging devices which can be shared among the most vulnerable members of the church congregation and wider community. Each device costs €20; we will buy as many as we can and any money leftover will be donated to the Bishop in Europe’s Advent appeal.
