artifly pole dance studio is a place where you can fly like a bird set free! We're excited to be the first pole dance studio in the vibrant Kleinbasel area. We're devoted to strengthening this beautiful art form in the Basel community & to creating a professional, inclusive, creative & fun home that embraces people from all walks of life who wish to discover new artistic & acrobatic sides of themselves through dance, movement & exercise.

Online group class with Niek!

In this online group class you will learn a choreo for all levels that can be danced with or without pole heels.

Since it's online, anyone from anywhere can benefit from it! Niek can teach in English, Portuguese, German/Swiss-German, Afrikaans & rusty French!

The maximum number of participants per group class is 6 people. If more than 6 grab this goodie, we'll organize more than one class.

Alignment Session with joyoga

Joy from @joyoga_ is sponsoring us with 2 group alignment sessions! Joy has been practicing yoga for 4 years and recently completed her 200 hour yoga Ashtanga & Vinyasa instructor training in Goa, India. In October 2023 she'll be travelling to Bali to complete a further 300 hour Vinyasa instructor course. Joy is also a certified Reiki Master lll.

The alignment session will take place in November or December 2023 (exact day and time to be confirmed) at artifly pole dance studio in Kleinbasel! This way you'll enjoy not only your goodie, but the beautiful space you've helped finance!

Trial Class - Pole Art with Niek

The pole art trial group classes at artifly have a duration of 90min and are structured into 3 parts - theoretic (15min), practical (60min) & info (15min).

In the first 15min you will:
- learn about the origins of modern day pole
- the different pole styles practiced today & offered at artifly
- understand basic technical terms used in pole classes (e.g. "inside arm")

In the next 60min you will:
- do a basic warm-up
- learn & perform 2-3 conditioning exercises
- learn a selection of pole spins, tricks & transitions
- dance your first mini pole sequence!

At the end of the trial class we use the last 15min to:
- explain how class bookings work
- go through some basic T&Cs
- answer any additional questions you may have! :)

Semi-Professional photo shoot with Niek

Niek has always loved to take photos and videos of her students. With this goodie you get a slot to get a few beautiful iPhone shot photos of you in the new artifly pole dance studio! Niek will be helping you with your poses.

You don't need to be doing pole already for this, by the way! There are endless possibilities for beautiful poses even if you've never done a single pole class! We'll use the poles, the floor, the wall & all the pretty backdrops.

Included are 6 photos. Maximum 8 people can select this goodie. We will set a day and time on a weekend during daylight time once the studio is ready and organize the shoot for groups of 2-3 people per hour.

Choreo Video Shoot with Niek

Do you have a choreo (pole or other form of dance) that you've been training and would like to have filmed in the new beautiful space? With this goodie you can book an hour with Niek at the new artifly pole dance studio to film your sequence. Make sure you train it a few times before so the time is used for filming and not for learning steps.

Niek will then edit it into 2 videos - a one-take video of the whole sequence as well as a little montage teaser! It's a great option for you if you'd like some pretty video and low-budget footage for yourself or to post :)

With this goodie you get a personalised private choreo class with Niek to learn a chair dance or floorwork routine to a song and vibe of your choice - lyrical, dramatic, steamy, seductive, up to you!

artifly studio rental - 8 hours all for yourself!

Keen on enjoying the beautiful new space by yourself to train freely? Whether you do pole, lyra, yoga, or other forms of dance, you can go wild and practice your discipline as you wish while being inspired by the gorgeous lighting and space.

This goodie is valid for 2023 and you can choose how to spread out your 8 hours until the end of the year (studio rental has to be booked directly with Niek/artifly via WhatsApp 076 490 48 30 in accordance with studio availability).

If you wish to use the space with a friend, they pay an additional CHF 10 to join you (per joined hour). Maximum 2 extra friends allowed for this goodie. You can talk directly to Niek about this too!
