Last week I determined the final geometry of the rotor blade and made design freeze. Using Blade Element Momentum (BEM) code I got the loads on my structure and now I am working on the modelling of the structure using FEM. Finite Element Method is the standard tool used in the industry to model structures, as I am still new to that specific field I can learn a lot which is interesting and fun at the same time.
