Project Overview
Fundraising for the Forderverein fur Kinder mit Seltenen Krankheiten (www.kmsk.ch). This foundation supports families that are affected by rare diseases by organizing heartwarming support and events. As part of the KMSK Swiss Challenge 2020, I aim to run at least 200km in one month (start on 11 May). For each completed km I will personally donate 1,- CHF to KMSK. Support KMSK by contributing to this effort. The raised funds go directly to KMSK.

The third and fourth week
A big thanks to all the supporters: we reached the initial goal and the crowdfunding campaign is a success. The Forderverein fur Kinder mit Seltenen Krankheiten will receive the funds as soon as the campaign is over in 12 days.
On a sporty level, I also almost achieved my part of the deal: only 6,61 km to go and 2 days left for my 200 km in a month challenge. The goal is definitely within reach.
Due to family circumstances I have not been able to keep you fully up to date on my progress. In the end it required an improvised long-distance run of 36+ km to get back on track again. Also, the final stage of the challenge will be completed in the Netherlands. Luckily the South-Limburg region offers an excellent running environment with more than enough hills to climb.
A bigger update follows as soon as the 200 km has been reached. For now: many thanks for your support and be sure to spread the word!

The second week: Halfway
At the end of the second week, the 100 km milestone has been reached right on schedule. As of today, the counter stands at 105 completed kilometers. With still 17 days to go, it looks like the 200 km goal is within reach (with even some days to spare for additional kilometers).
Today, I also completed for the first time in my running career a 30 km run in a decent time of 2 hours and 50 minutes. It was kind of a personal challenge, but if a sponsor decides to put in the CHF 200,- I will be happy to do it again.
In addition to the first CHF 75,- I also added my second contribution that should keep me going until the 150 km milestone.
Looking forward to additional supporters and boosters who will push me over the 200 km goal :)

The first week
Dear boosters, supporters, and followers,
A big thanks for getting involved with this crowdfunding campaign for KMSK (www.kmsk.ch). After the first 5 days, I have completed 35 kilometers, and I'm looking forward to add a longer run over the weekend. For the moment, everything goes according to plan and I'm still on track to reach the 200 km within a month.
It is encouraging to see that we already reached 55% of the crowdfunding goal, but of course we aim higher. Please help to spread the word and share the campaign!
I can also highly recommend to get active and join the KMSK Swiss Challenge 2020. After this first stage, there are two more stages in july/august and september/october. The online community is very active and it's a great way to get actively involved. Register via www.kmsk.ch
