Project Overview
This Christmas, support the Ukrainian people to get through the freezing holiday season and long winter to follow. With your donations Be an Angel can provide generators, warm clothing, life saving medications and basic food stuffs to those in need. Since the beginning of the Russian-led war on Ukraine, Be an Angel has been able to provide almost 5000 tonnes of humanitarian aid as well as evacuate over 18'000 people. Only thanks to your support!

Ever since the start of the Russian invasion into Ukraine, Be an Angel e.V., founded in 2015, and Friends of Be an Angel, the U.S. registered counterpart, have evacuated more than 18,000 vulnerable Ukrainian civilians to safety in European Union countries. We delivered and distributed close to 5,000 tons of in-kind donations worth over 35 million Euros to war zones in Ukraine. These donations include medicines, medical equipment, basic foodstuffs, ambulances, generators, warm clothing and more. So much so that the Human Rights Committee of the Parliament of Ukraine has recognized and certified these humanitarian aid activities.
At this very moment, Ukrainians are facing the coldest winter in the history of independence! The room temperatures are expected to be at 13-14°C inside homes at best during winter, approximately six degrees below normal, even if they have heat or electricity at all. At the same time the heating season will start later and will end earlier than usual. Also, Ukraine has problems with electricity and gas. It could cause the breakdown of the energy system so that the Ukrainians could be without heat in the houses! Even a simple cold or fever could lead to death!
During this holiday season consider giving the gift of giving. Through your donations Be an Angel is able to give Ukrainian people warmth and a full stomach for Christmas. One generator €250 can keep a family warm and give them some light, so the children are not as frightened. A care package €25 for a family of four assures to meet their basic needs and even give the children some joy with little presents. Just 175€ covers the cost of the life saving seat for one person on one of our evacuation busses all the way to a western European country. With €3000 we can finance a whole bus, bringing 60 people to safety, from a Ukrainian front line city to Moldova.
