We are The Anthronauts, from Zurich. In four years we have grown into a ten-piece Afrobeat band that has toured all over Switzerland. Now we are working hard to release our first studio album. Why? First of all because of our love for music: We have written new songs that we want to put into a worthy format. And: An album opens new doors for us. Will you help us to make it a reality?

Our Album is here!
One year ago today, thanks to your generous support, we raised almost 10,000 Swiss francs for the production of our debut album.
The production took a little longer than planned, but we think it was worth the time. We are proud to announce the release of our first studio album!
We have put a lot of energy, love and sweat into it over the last two years - but it was made possible by our generous supporters. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you all once again!
We were able to donate 10% of the proceeds to Freiplatzaktion Zürich to support their important rights activist work.
With the Freiplatzaktion we will also go on stage: On 30.10 you can see The Anthronauts live at Stall 6 / Zurich at the "Concert for Rights against the Right"!

🙏🏽 We are grateful and overwhelmed to have collected almost 10'000 Swiss Francs through your help. It's not the full amount, but it looks like we have enough for a fine little album together. Thank you very much!
What will happen now?
🔈 In November we will go into the studio again for two tracks and will have an album with six tracks together by the end of the year or at the beginning of 2021 at the latest.
🔈 In October we plan to release the second single "Bully Boys in Power" with a clip.
🔈 In the meantime we will be busy counting and re-ordering t-shirts and sending you the goodies as soon as possible. The album pre-orders will be available for download after the production on Bandcamp.
💪🏽 We are especially proud to be able to pass on almost 1000 francs to our campaign partner, Freiplatzaktion Zürich. With this amount, they can offer around 24 hours of legal work for asylum seekers and migrants in Zurich.
🙀 We will be LIVE soon! We will play on November 21, 2020 on the 35th anniversary of the free space campaign in the Gessnerallee (free admission with collection). We are looking forward to seeing you!

Thanks to your help we have financed 50% of the project in no time, 1000 thanks to all of you!
We went directly to the studio for the first four songs: Rhythm section, horns section, and the vocal tracks with Nongoma Ndlovu are done and will soon go into production with Roman Lerch at the Nachklang Studios. We are really looking forward to showing you the first tracks!

We're warming up for the studio!
The first stage has been completed - we have financed the first four days of the studio! Thanks a lot to all of you! After many very intensive rehearsals, we are now definitely getting ready for the studio.
