Funding goals

1. Stage 1:

   15.000 CHF

   5% funded

   With this money, we will be able to meet the need to provide access for people with reduced mobility (entrance and toilets). Without this mandatory step, we will not be able to open the venue.

2. Stage 2:

   25.000 CHF

   0% funded

   Thanks to this amount, we will be able to fit out the grocery space with the required furniture and cold storage layout.

3. Stage 3:

   35.000 CHF

   0% funded

   Thanks to this amount, we will be able to set up a complete logistics management system (cash register, payment and weighing system, stock management).

4. Stage 4:

   40.000 CHF

   0% funded

   Thanks to this amount, we will be able to set up a 7/7 self-service access through a secure electronic management system.

5. Stage 5:

   45.000 CHF

   0% funded

   Thanks to this amount, we will be able to furnish the rental space with furniture and multimedia equipment.

6. Finish Stage:

   50.000 CHF

   Thanks to this amount, we will be able to install a professional dishwasher to support the various activities related to the multi-service space (exhibitions and vernissages, sessions, outdoor events).

Creation of a Multi-Service Space

The main objective of the project is to enhance the village of Les Avants by creating a multi-service space on the ground floor of the Buffet de la Gare.
The creation of such a place is a key cornerstone in the development of the Les Avants resort. On the one hand, it provides the villagers with a meeting place and local services, and on the other hand, it serves as a central cultural and tourist platform that meets the growing expectations and needs, considering the significant increase in soft tourism in the region, in close collaboration with Montreux-Vevey Tourism.
To this end, the establishment of this space will significantly increase the appeal of the village of Les Avants, also supporting and benefiting local economic actors (village and surrounding restaurants, local producers).
As Les Avants is also one of the gateways to the Gruyère-Pays-d'Enhaut Regional Nature Park, such a space will not only serve as a showcase but will also improve communication about the park's attractions and the organization of various activities.
Finally, the creation of a multi-service space in Les Avants is fully aligned with the legislative plan of the Municipality of Montreux, which aims to support the development of such social projects for villages, thus promoting integration and the development of local networks.
The Fondation de la Gare des Avants is the project holder, relying on a participatory approach carried out beforehand by the Société des Intérêts des Avants (SIA), and plans to manage this space in collaboration with local stakeholders and the village residents.

In order to move forward with the project and gain the support of the Municipality of Montreux, we have engaged the services of the architectural firm AW-AR Antonuccio • Wieland • Architects EPFL SIA.

Grocery Store Concept

The project involves the establishment of a small, self-service grocery store open 7 days a week, offering bakery products, mountain cheeses, honey from our local producers, and other essential products.
