Dear supporters,

First of all: THANK YOU all 221 of you for helping us reach this amazing goal of 28.000 CHF! We are so grateful. The last stretch was so exciting and we quickly bumped up the amount from the 20.000 to 28.000 with your support. You really rocked this!

The crowdfunding is over, but our work behind the scenes continues at high speed, and we are busier than ever! We are currently working on the final details such as furnishing the back of the shop to include optimal storage and functionality, working on packaging design, finding the right containers for our products, developing our menus (including a delicious coffee menu), hiring staff for the shop, talking to construction workers, architects and other specialized people who we need to include in the process, while making sure we also keep our two businesses running at the same time (Kürzi Kakao and White Rabbit Bakery).

Speaking of coffee: Both Britta and Bianca completed two barista courses with Kaffeemacher in Basel, which we both completed to perfection! Britta is already a coffee enthusiast, and the process of creating good coffee has many similarities to producing good chocolate. Bianca already had barista training many years ago while working in gastro in Copenhagen, and she is now slowly finding her love for the taste of coffee. We want to make sure that we can offer you hot drinks of the best quality, whether you prefer a classic cup of coffee or you're adventurous and want to try some new indulgent creations.

Since our last update a lot has happened, and during this weekend we were so lucky to BOTH be nominated for the Swiss Vegan Awards! Kürzi Kakao is nominated in the category "Newcomer" and White Rabbit Bakery is nominated in the categories "Newcomer" and "Sweet Food and Drinks". We are incredibly grateful to be nominated! Go give us both some love at vegan.ch

Within the coming weeks we are approaching the complete build of our shop, and you can expect to hear from us again with an official opening date for our supporters only. You will be the first to be invited when we open the doors!

Dear supporters,

We can’t believe we almost made it to the end of our 45 days long crowdfunding!

This is the last stretch - only 24 hours left! We are currently at 26.629 CHF, slowly but steadily increasing every few hours! The goal is 28.000 CHF, which is our stage 2 goal! Only a small sum to go, and we would be so incredibly grateful if we got to benefit from that extra support. One last share, one last pust, one last stretch!

Thanks to those of you who attended our apéro last week! It was such a lovely event, and we got to chat with many of you for quite some time. We simply can't wait to welcome you in the furnished and finished shop!

The shop is moving along and we can look forward to the delivery of the interior in the beginning of September, whereafter we need to get everything up and running and finish the last details. Over the coming few weeks, we will be working on organizing our storage and back office while also trying to make the deadlines on all packaging and marketing material. Lastly, as you might remember, we did a barista training last week and we will be doing 2 full days of advanced barista training this coming weekend. Wish us luck! We are working on a nice drink menu for you.

So as you can imagine, we are not bored - quite the opposite! And all your support has given us a lot of positive energy and motivation.

Our initial goal was 25.000 CHF, and we MADE IT! Thanks to all of you! We wanted to spread the word and make sure Zürich is ready for MOON. And we must say that people have been sharing, spreading the word, and helping out a lot wherever possible, more than we could have hoped for. It is amazing to feel this excitement.

Hi MOON supporters,

Happy Friday! Can you believe that we are less than 2 weeks away from the end of our crowdfunding campaign! We know that we can't- time is flying! We are so incredibly grateful for your support, but now in this last push before our campaign ends, we need your help again.

We hit our stage 1 goal, but we really want to hit the next stages if possible before the end of two weeks, and we can't do that without YOU.

We ask that you please share our crowdfunding with your friends and family, share on social media and tag @moonshopzurich, and talk to your employers about gifts or custom-made MOON packages that we could cater to your companies. Also, please like our posts on social media, comment on them and interact with us so that we can boost our visibility. Every engagement helps so much!

In other exciting news, we now have 2 new goodies that we have added to the crowdfunding store! If you want a custom-baked cake (who doesn't?!) or a chocolate-tasting course (MMmmmmM), you can click on our crowdfunding and buy one now. Delicious!

Aside from that, we are making good progress on the shop itself. We have all of the materials chosen, the designs drawn up, and now we are just waiting for the finalized crowdfunding to close before we get to work on putting it all together! Woohoo!!

Finally, please check your email in the next week. We will be hosting an event for supporters only in our empty shop on Wednesday, August 4th from 5-6:30pm so we can meet and thank all of you in person. We can't wait to see YOU!

We hit 100 boosters this weekend and we are approaching our first financial goal - so exciting! What is even more exciting is to feel all the support and excitement around our shop from all of you, and we just can't wait to open the doors after summer.

It is important for us to celebrate the small milestones and we want to invite you to celebrate with us! We would love to invite you to join us at our empty store this Friday at 17:00 for a casual meet and greet, to say cheers and thank you, and to simply meet some of you lovely people motivating us throughout this journey!

You can finally support our crowdfunding by getting vouchers to use in our store when we open! You can gift them to friends and family, or simply treat yourself. The voucher amounts are 25, 50 or 100 CHF and can be used for any delicious product of your choice. Valid from the opening of MOON.

Dear Boosters,

Based on the initial success of our crowdfunding that has only been running for 5 days, we have been able to confirm our project with a company in Italy that will be creating the main elements of our shop. As promised, we are going for a high-end shop that will make you feel good when you come in, and that will display our products in an inviting way while preserving the quality in the best possible way. We are super excited about this milestone, and now we hope they can work fast in order to make the opening happen soon after summer.

Further, we are so excited about the support we have met thus far that we have decided to make two new goodies available: A smaller goodie only with rolls, and a smaller goodie only with chocolate. Because sometimes you just need to indulge in your favourite sweet moment. So if you want to gift someone a litte special treat, this is a good opportunity to do so. As these products will be the stars of the show, we wanted to create a few goodies focused around them.
