"Grenzen der Endlichkeit" is an intimate documentary about Robin Justine Schönbeck, a young woman with an unnamed illness. She battles the limits of her own finitude while embodying the courage and inspiration that lies within us all. With her indomitable fighting spirit and infectious smile, she reminds us that true strength is to embrace life despite obstacles and cherish every moment. This moving story invites us on a journey to overcome our own barriers and appreciate happiness in the most unexpected moments.
With your support, our exclusive pre-premiere will take place on September 22, 2023 at the Culture & Convention Center Lucerne (KKL). The event includes our moving documentary, a concert and an art exhibition, which offers chronically ill people of all kinds an opportunity to showcase their passions.
We want to break stereotypes through education and promote understanding for those affected. Our pre-premiere is a significant step in bringing the issue into the public eye. Together, we celebrate the strength and resilience of the chronically ill and invite you to be a part of this inspiring event.
"My medical history has been with me since 2014, when I was just 12 years old. In the almost 9 years, my full life was ripped away from me more and more. The symptoms worsen day by day. Despite my odyssey, my fighting spirit is unbroken. Every day it motivates me more to make the most of the limited time I have left. I use my voice for all the people who are not heard.
I have found my hold in my passion to create something positive out of all the negativity, not only for me, but for everyone who listens to my voice.
With your support, the echoes of my voice ring out across the world!"
Will you fight with me?
Yours, Robin Justine
Our goal is to raise awareness and educate society. Robin's personal story serves to highlight the issue and encourages everyone to think about the meaning of their own happiness. With this event, we want to highlight that a person is more than their medical record.
Will you take the 1st step with us to change the world to a better place?
Living with a chronic disease is a major challenge.
Every 5th person in Switzerland suffers from a chronic disease. Nevertheless, there is a lack of education in the social environment about the difficulties that patients struggle with on a daily basis. The invisibility of the diseases leads to misunderstandings and social isolation, as one is often not perceived as part of society. More awareness and understanding are urgently needed to create an understanding and supportive environment. Our project is the first initiative in the fight for more awareness and acceptance.
Unfortunately, I had to experience first hand that there is a lack of support on all levels in Switzerland.
If a person suffers from a rare disease, it takes on average 9-12 years to get a diagnosis, if one is lucky enough to get one at all.
Far too many doctors reach their limits with complex conditions.
Unless you fit into a category, you are completely alone. To make matters worse, the symptoms of the disease make your life living hell, there is also a lack of financial security.
As if that were not enough, one feels more and more not part of society and encounters incomprehension again and again. You sink into complete isolation and hopelessness because there is a lack of enlightenment.
This is exactly where "Still Human" comes into play. 5 years ago I first had the fundamental idea to revolutionize support in Switzerland: Unlimited engagement at all levels. The human condition is our top priority. My goal is to build a safety net consisting of social, financial assistance and a diagnostic doctors network.
All people who fall through the holes of our system will be gently picked up by us. With each additional contribution from you, our goals will become a reality faster.

My fate is our first story

Since 9 years I am fighting against my nameless disease, the symptoms of which are constantly getting worse. Despite this, I gain the strength from my passion for life and art to create positivity out of all the negativity. My personal experiences motivate me daily to use my voice for all those who often go unheard or even silenced.
