café révolution is not a coffee place in the conventional sense. With café révolution we, the collective of the same name, want to create a meeting point in the midst of Bern like no other: it is our dream to create a Safer Space free of racism and discrimination for people who are faced with and affected by racism, as well as a platform for anti-racist projects. To make this dream come true, we need your support!

THE DREAM BECOMES REALITY! ⚡ Mission accomplished - and why we're still continuing!
Dear Booster
HOLY MOLY! ⚡ We made it and only thanks to you! Last Thursday, we reached our goal and received 30,000 francs from 366 boosters in only 3 weeks! Not to mention the countless likes, tags, reposts and encouragements! We are completely overwhelmed and incredibly grateful, touched and absolutely thrilled. ♥️ We can't wait to open our doors for you and to live the rêve-olution!
However, our crowdfunding will continue until the beginning of March, so we are not done just yet. From now on, all contributions that come in will help us:
- continue to live the dream after the opening and ensure the sustenance of café révolution.
- to set up a solidarity fund. 🤝 We are aware that the success of this campaign is not only a testimony to the huge demand and your great commitment, but also to our own privileges. Not all, but many in our collective have the Swiss passport, are cis, hetero, have no visible physical disability, are straight-sized - just to name a few examples. Privileges that grant us credibility and access to a network that other multi-marginalized people with great ideas and projects do not benefit from. We ask for the conversation of intersectionality not only from our community, but also from ourselves. That's why we especially want to support collectives, individuals and initiatives that don't benefit from the same privileges and are given little or no space. With the solidarity fund we can offer a platform to those very people, for example by making the café révolution available for free use.
