One couple, two cultures, one dream on four wheels.
We’re Fayzan (from Pakistan) and Victoria (from Belgium). After several years in Dubai, we decided to start fresh in Switzerland, bringing with us a shared passion for authentic food. This food truck project, which combines our love for Italian coffee and homemade Liège waffles, is born from our desire to share a piece of our story and culture with you.
We aim to create a truly unique mobile culinary experience, serving carefully selected Italian coffee, brewed on professional machines imported straight from Italy. And, of course, we’ll also bring a little piece of Belgium to Switzerland with our Liège waffles, made with authentic Belgian pearl sugar, offering you a deliciously sweet and comforting treat.
Why this funding?
To turn this dream into reality, we need 25,000 CHF. Here’s how the funds will be used to make it happen:
☕ 1. Professional food truck training (5,000 CHF): To learn all the technical aspects of running a food truck and to ensure the highest quality of service.
🔧 2. Purchasing high-quality equipment (10,000 CHF): We’ll invest in professional espresso machines, Belgian waffle irons, and all the necessary equipment to offer an exceptional culinary experience. Part of this amount will also be used for a deposit on the food truck.
🚚 3. Purchase of the food truck (10,000 CHF): With this funding, we’ll be able to finalize the purchase of the truck, customize it, and hit the roads of Switzerland, bringing our delicious products to you.

My name is Fayzan Syed, I’m 35 years old and originally from Pakistan. I spent several years living in Dubai, where I met my wife, who is from Belgium. Dubai wasn’t the right fit for her, so we made the decision to move closer to her family and start fresh in Switzerland.
After a long and challenging job search with no success, I decided to take another path — to create something of my own. Coffee, especially Italian coffee, has always been a real passion of mine. I love everything about it: the taste, the ritual, the culture. That’s what inspired me to launch a food truck that offers a true Italian coffee experience, using professional machines imported straight from Italy.
At the same time, I wanted to bring a piece of Belgium into the project — something meaningful to my wife and her background. So, we’ll also be serving authentic Liège waffles, made with real Belgian pearl sugar, just like back home.
This food truck is more than just a business idea — it’s a reflection of who we are, where we come from, and what we love. It's about sharing culture, flavors, and stories with others. That’s what motivates me every day, and that’s why I’m turning to crowdfunding — to help make this project a reality.

My name is Victoria, I’m 27 years old, Belgian, and I work in financial auditing. I lived in Dubai for a year, where I met my husband. Although the experience was enriching, I always wanted to be closer to my family. That’s what led us to settle in Switzerland.
When my husband decided to launch his food truck project focused on Italian coffee and Belgian waffles, I immediately wanted to support him. Not only because it’s been a long-time dream of his, but also because this project truly reflects who we are — a mix of cultures, passions, and skills.
I’m happy to contribute by bringing my financial knowledge, but also by adding a touch of my Belgian heritage through our artisanal waffles. This project is our way of building something meaningful together, sharing what we love, and creating connection in our new life here in Switzerland.
