Libreta "Skiffia por siempre"
A unique notebook (16 x 10.5 cm, 15 sheets) with the cover made of handmade paper from the invasive water hyacinth (Pontederia crassipes) - this is conservation in perfection! The motif with the name "Skiffia por siempre" by Mexican artist Adriana Arellano Tinoco was designed for Día de los Muertos 2022 and shows a male of the Golden Skiffia (Skiffia francesae) in an open hand, which symbolizes the fragility of this species and that its survival is in our hands. It illustrates the change of hand and fish from death on the back cover to life on the front cover with the hand releasing a tiny Skiffia back to the wild. This is the symbolic depiction for Día de los Muertos, symbolizing the transition of this species, which is extinct in nature, from death to life. The reintroduction project for this species was officially launched on November 1st 2022 and is ongoing. Additionally, a visually appealing digital thank-you certificate with the name of the boostering enthusiast as a pdf is sent by E-Mail and the name of the enthusiast is painted in black letters in alphabetical order on the car under “The purchase of this vehicle was made possible by the following enthusiasts”.
